Our goal is to provide a high quality driver education
course to our students, as
cost effectively as possible. To perform these services in a very timely
manner
and in a professional atmosphere.
Area Driving School, Inc. Company
History
The company was started by Dwight Hawkins and Claudette
Caron January 1, 1996.
On January 2, 1996, the first classes were held in Belfast, Waterville, Wilton,
and
Winthrop. The owners have over 32 years of combined experience in the
Drivers
Education business. In 1997 a location was opened at Carrabassett Valley
Academy
where a class is held annually in April. In the Spring of 1998, the
Wilton location
was moved to Livermore Falls. During the Fall of 1998, the Adult Learning
Center
in Livermore Falls contracted with Area Driving School to provide Driver Education
services at Livermore Falls and Jay High Schools.
